Specializes in:

  • Corporate law and capital market law, particularly in transactions involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including those concerning publicly listed companies;
  • Negotiating investment agreements and commercial contracts;
  • Tax law and international tax law, with a focus on tax efficiency in broadly understood restructuring activities, M&A transactions, the operation of capital groups, and tax planning;
  • Tax law in the context of tax and fiscal-penal proceedings;
  • Legal support for capital investments, with particular emphasis on their tax aspects.

Fluent in German, including legal and economic terminology. Provides legal services in both German and English.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Has been associated with the firm for 15 years. From the beginning of his career, his focus has been on providing legal support to entrepreneurs, regardless of their business structure. He has conducted dozens of M&A transactions, including cross-border mergers and transactions involving shares of publicly listed companies. He has designed and successfully implemented numerous restructuring concepts, utilizing both foreign companies and investment funds as well as domestic solutions in corporate and tax law.

He is the author of training sessions and lectures for organizations of entrepreneurs and business professionals on corporate law and tax law.

A member of the supervisory bodies of numerous Polish and international business entities, including joint-stock companies, Alternative Investment Funds, Privatstiftungen, as well as Austrian and German GmbHs.

EDUCATION

Graduated in law from Jagiellonian University in 2007, defending his master’s thesis in the Department of Private Economic Law titled “Distribution of Profit in a Joint-Stock Company – The Dividend Puzzle.” He was an Erasmus-Socrates scholarship holder at the University of Mannheim (2005–2006) and is a graduate of the German Law School at Jagiellonian University.
